All of Lake Jennings

Imagine your private event on Lake Jennings. Engage the entire Lake for a large corporate meeting, retreat, or special occasion. Lake Jennings can accommodate 600 guests, with motor and paddleboat rentals to add to the fun. Both the launching dock and the floating dock are easily accessible for events, fishing, or just enjoying the scenery.

Selected Cozy Areas

Just steps from the water’s edge, Hermit Cove is a shady glen located at the eastern rim of the lake, perfect for a wedding, party, corporate BBQ, dance, or large family picnic. With an expansive parking area, Hermit Cove accommodates 300 guests, and has grills and tables.

With expansive lake and mountain views on all sides of the large plateau, Sentry Point is located below the campground, and is an ideal backdrop for weddings, corporate parties, and photo-ops. The flat terrain is suitable for generous party tents or pop-up pavilions. With plenty of parking, this open space accommodates 200 guests.

The Gazebo is located in the campground adjacent to the group camping area, and has two rustic structures for smaller events and groups. This charming semi-enclosed space is sheltered on the windward side and can accommodate 30 guests. Views of the lake and surrounding peaks make this a charming location for small weddings, family gatherings, small corporate retreats, or company planning sessions. The Gazebo has electricity, water, and is a short walk to indoor restrooms. Wi-Fi is included.

The Pavilion. A lovely venue for corporate meetings, family parties, day retreats, weddings, receptions, or birthdays, The Pavilion is located in the campground area. A large, wooden, hexagonal-shaped facility with a bright, sky-lit interior, The Pavilion can accommodate 68 guests. Tables with benches can be made available. This year-round setting is just a short walk to the children’s playground. Electricity and Wi-Fi are included, with indoor restrooms just steps away.

Weddings (see our wedding brochure)
Plan your special day at one of Lake Jennings’ numerous lakeside sites—Sentry Point, Hermit Cove—or one of the rustic structures in the campground. For a large wedding, we encourage you to engage the entire lake for an unforgettable ceremony on the lake, on the dock, or at one of the water’s-edge locations. Follow up with a reception in one of the large open areas, or in the shaded glen of Hermit Cove.

Professional Photography, Filming, Videos
Lake Jennings is a highly desirable film backdrop. With scenic beauty and close proximity to San Diego, the lake makes this an ideal location for still photography, motion picture, and video production. The 350-acre park is located just off Highway I-8 and Lake Jennings Park Road at 9535 Harritt Road, Lakeside 92040. The grounds are closed to the general public four days per week, providing a secure setting, and eliminating crowd control issues that can be encountered in other venues.
